Using the power of the web and Zazzle.com, you can produce products from apparel to unique gifts and much more. Combining your graphic design, illustration and photography skills with some patience, you too can deliver quality products to consumers worldwide. Zazzle also allows consumers to customize the product by allowing them to add text and background colour.

Launched in 2005 Zazzle provides its own proprietary technology to enable individuals and professional artists to create and offer billions of unique products to consumers worldwide. Also, major brands including Disney, Hallmark and DC Comics, just to name a few, create and offer their products via the Zazzle marketplace.

Getting Started

The first step is to sign up for your free account. This will allow access to the My Account section. Here you are able to upload images, customise your store, check earnings and start creating products.

Setting up a store is easy and quick. Choose from one of the many themes provided, or technically minded users can create a custom look by using XHTML and CSS coding. The Store tab, Google Analytics and or StatCounter.com can be used as the store tracking option.

Creating a Product

Creating products with Zazzle is easy and quick. You can create the following types of products with a click of a button.

  • Apparel (men's, women's and kids' clothing, shoes and more)
  • Accessories (bags, ties, aprons and more)
  • For the office (business cards, letterhead, binders - only on the US site)
  • For the home (mugs, calendars and more)
  • Cards and Postage (stamps are only available on the US site)
  • Posters and Prints
  • Unique gifts (pet clothing, magnets and much more)

Help and Support

Anyone can open a store, create products and start selling easily and quickly on Zazzle. The website provides a comprehensive help section (which contains design guides) and a great community of forums. Don’t be afraid to interact with other Zazzlers, ask questions, and take a moment to read the NEW to Zazzle – Start Here forum. Zazzle also replies to emails sent directly to the company quickly and promptly.

Zazzle also provides localised websites for Australia, Spain, France, Japan, Brazil, USA, Canada, UK, Germany and Portugal. Empowering local users to design and create products in their own language and currency. Once you have created an account on one site, it will be available on all the other Zazzles sites.

Promoting your Zazzle store

Once you have created a store tell the world about it. Zazzle provides a number of tools to help promote your store.

This is not a get-rich-quick program. It takes patience to run a store, and sales don’t happen instantaneously. But it is possible to make a living from a Zazzle store. Some Zazzlers run multiple stores. Why not give it a go? It’s free and there is nothing to lose.
